AmsterJam 2005. A review by FFF.

First some history.

In March 2004, I (FFF) wanted to impress my friends with some frisbee tricks.
We did some catch and throw and I wanted more. So I got on the Internet and found Fabio Sanna's
Freeskyler and of course Freestyle-frisbee.nl. A new world was discovered.I started to learn the
naildelay and asked Iwan if I could get some tips. He told me: practice, practice, practice.
And come by in the Westerpark for a Jam!. So I did and it was a lot of fun. My first under the
leg!
At the end of the Jam he told me to come to the AmsterJam 2004, and I saw Iwan doing
everything on his own, I had a great time and at the end of the AmsterJam, Iwan had no voice left, I told him: next year i'm on. I'm going to help you to make one of the greatest freestyle frisbee events in the world.
That was the start of my freestyle career......

And it was a great tournament!

After a small delay(not on the nail ), the games started. 48 european
competitors started de pre pairs competition.
A lot of new players with a high skill level amazed lot's of people.
The wind was not so steady, but that was for all players the same difficulty.
But the sun made it all good. It was a beautiful weekend (+25), so there were
a lot of spectators chilling on the field.
All favorites made it to the semi's an in co'ops the same happened. (no surprises)
But then at the semi's pairs, Fabio and Gregory (the later champions) didn't do what they
supposed to do, and it was a question if they got to the finals.
In this tournament was your position in the pool not automaticly
the end score. In the pairs finals it was so close, that 1 or 2 drops made the difference for the first place, and we had a tie at third place.
And also the co op finals were very close. Wait till you see the official scores.
